![]() Teddy Artist competition "Gläserner Teddybär" 2010 We'd like to invite hobby bear makers and teddy artists from around the world to take part in this year's competition. There will be one winner in each category: "Beginners", "Advanced" and "Miniatures" (teddy bears and other animals). Each of the three winners will receive a trophy, made of glass, and a certificate. The artists that will be placed second and third will receive a certificate and a small surprise. The Competition timetable will be available at the end of March / beginning of April. Conditions of participation: Deadline for sending the competition pictures: 27th March 2010.
Participation fee: 8 Euros incl. VAT for participation in one category 13 Euros incl. VAT for participation in two categories The fee will be payable as soon as the participation of the animal is acknowledged. You'd like to participate in this year's teddy artist competition? The pictures will be published without names. Please choose your category: The following information should help you with that. Beginners (teddy bears only) You are familiar with the basic bear making techniques and you are able to design simple patterns yourself. It is easy for you to make teddy bears using other peoples' patterns with low or medium level of difficulty. Advanced: (teddy bears only) You are familiar with more difficult techniques (working with Fimo, wire, douple head joints ...) and you are able to design teddy bears according to your own imagination. It is easy for you to make teddy bears using other peoples' patterns with advanced level of difficulty. Miniatures (teddy bears and other animals): We do not distinguish between Beginners and Advanced. The animal can be sewn, crocheted, knitted, needlefelted or combinations of that.
