Teddy Artist competition "Gläserner Teddybär" 2010
The international jury
The members of the jury mark every bear/animal additionally to the reader voting and
independently from each other. The total point result of each preliminary and final voting
consists of the reader voting and the marking by the jury.
Every jury member marks every bear/animal with 7 to 10 points.

Daniel Hentschel (Germany)
... is an expert on the subject of historical teddy bears from German, Austrian and Swiss manufacturers.
In 2008 he published the "Große Teddy-Hermann Buch" (The big Teddy-Hermann book) together with
Wolfgang Froese. On German teddy bear events he often estimates the value of bears from visitors.

Silvia Gilles (Germany)
... has been making teddy bears (Gilles Bären) for more than ten years now.
The teddy artist who lives near Cologne is well-known for her teddy bears and other animals
with realistic appearance. In 2008 she was very proud to be the winner of the
special prize of the famous manufacturer Steiff together with her classical bear "Jona".

The teddy artist from Kent has always been drawn to bears of significant proportion
and her own designs stay true to this concept. She creates mainly substantial teddy bears with traditional English teddy bear design.
It is important to her to promote bear art and to bring it to an even broader audience.

Marianne Loyd (Norway)
... has always loved teddy bears. The teddy artist and book author likes to create teddy bears that are
different and unusual, for example bright colors in the use of fur.
One of her bears lives in the teddy bear museum in Hof (Germany).
Marianne supports Wildlife SOS, a non-profit organization, which works
in the field of Wildlife rescue and animal rehabilitation.
