Teddy bears from Austrian companies are especially popular among collectors in Austria and Switzerland. Similiar to other companies Fechter was established after 1945. The teddy bears are very similiar to those from the Austrian companies Schwika and SAF. Often they can only be distinguished with the help of their company labels.

The big teddy bear which you can see here has a size of 45 cm. He is a typical Fechter bear around 1965.
